Stratifications and transformations

Davide Fioretta Falky tells his artistic story through a creative process of layering and constant change. For him, art is a way to show how complex people and cities are: each of his pieces is like a deep journey through feelings, memories, and thoughts about people and the modern world. In this story, the city becomes a stage and a subject, through a way of seeing that mixes painting, materials, and emotional stories.

Discovery as a creative force

Discovery is the intrinsic core of the works, an impulse that generates the geology of images and animates the entire process of stratification. It is a continuous exploration that manifests itself in the emotions linked to the approach to the unknown, in the researchers and hunters who populate the works in search of life. This dynamic of revelation links landscape, migration and humans in a perpetual journey towards something or someone, making each canvas an act of poetic inquiry.

Corpus: the human library of being

“Corpus” is a work designed specifically for Poesia Urbana and composed of 200 small paintings representing human beings in all their facets. This iconographic catalogue was also inspired by a visit to the former Poggi factory, reflecting on the lives and stories of the people who worked there.

The solo exhibition offers a valuable opportunity to immerse oneself in the thoughts and poetics of an artist who transforms matter into emotional experience.
