ABOUT TOUR

Pepo has arrived at Terrarium! The artwork, created by Giozu for the Àprile – Festival 2026 in Turin, was built during the collective construction workshop and exhibited at L’Agnelleria Art Gallery, in collaboration with Enrica Benedetto of Oolalala Art Gallery.

Terrarium – Arte in crescita has expanded its collection by moving the large Pepo sculpture to the grounds of the B&B Due Fiumi 1908 as a permanent installation.

The workshop and the artist

Giozu, the stage name of Giovanni Zuffi, is an artist and performer from Milan. His work focuses on sculpture, installations and collaborative projects, characterised by the use of papier-mâché and the creation of large, self-supporting structures. Pepo is a marvellous example of this. Built in collaboration with participants at the Turin workshop, its bamboo framework was then covered with papier-mâché and finished to create a pig measuring 4 metres in length and 2.6 metres in height.

The move to Terrarium

Following the exhibition at L’Agnelleria Art Gallery, Terrarium decided to acquire Giozu’s work, organising a long journey from Turin to Travacò Siccomario. The artwork’s arrival at its new home was captured in a video produced by Terrarium, with the aim of documenting and celebrating the new addition to the collection in its art park.

Pepo’s friends

Pepo has now settled into the grounds of the Due Fiumi 1908 B&B, where guests can admire him and take a few photos with the extraordinary giant pig, joining his ever-growing circle of friends.
