ABOUT TOUR

Contemporary art comes alive on 27 September in Pavia with “Pelle” (Skin), a two-person exhibition that compares the fascinating artistic expressions of Dorothy Bhawl and Aioria Fontana. The event, organised by L2Arte and Terrarium, is curated by Rosanna Accordino, who guarantees a profound and carefully crafted narrative.

The exhibition context

The exhibition will be held at the L2Arte Gallery in Pavia from 27 September to 12 October 2025. Curator Rosanna Accordino brings together two photographic languages united by the theme of skin, understood as life and existence. Dorothy Bhawl investigates society with a critical eye, synthesising human archetypes through strident colours and eccentric compositions, while Aioria Fontana offers psychological photography that recalls painting and metaphysics. The collaboration between the two artists represents a spiritual graft that unites opposites in an alchemical process of growth and experimentation.

An artistic performance in Terrarium

At the end of the evening, guests are warmly invited to an exclusive reception at the charming B&B Due Fiumi 1908 in Travacò Siccomario.

The convivial moment will be enhanced by an artistic performance with Elena Lander, an international actress of Russian origin residing in Milan, who has already starred in Aioria Fontana’s projects. The performance, accompanied by music by Dorothy Bhawl and LMNC and choreography by Silvia Rastelli and Giulia Palmese, will offer an immersive sensory experience and an exciting dialogue between visual and performing arts.

Enjoying ‘Pelle’

‘Pelle’ is an unmissable opportunity for both enthusiasts and novices of contemporary art, an invitation to reflect on the many facets of a universal and deeply human theme.

Immersing yourself in the exhibition means experiencing an intense visual narrative, curated with passion and rigour by L2Arte, Terrarium and Rosanna Accordino, who make each work part of an emotional and cultural experience to be discovered and fully enjoyed.
